Find It, Pull It, Eat It! at Button Bay State Park

Learn how to identify the invasive species garlic mustard, help us control its spread in the Park, and prepare some delicious garlic mustard pasta! Counts as a Junior Ranger park service activity. Ages 4 and up. Meets at the Pavilion.

All events are free to State Park campers. Day use fees are $4 per adult or $2 per child. Any attendee below the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Dress tick-safe.

Join us around the fire at Lake Carmi State Park for a discussion with our park interpreter about best practices for recycling, composting, and reusing common camping supplies. Learn how to be an environmentally friendly camper while enjoying free s'mores. All ages welcome.

Become a Junior Ranger at Lake Carmi State Park

Join our Park Interpreter at Lake Carmi State Park to start your Vermont Junior Ranger training program today! Receive assistance filling out the ranger booklet, doing the required activities to achieve ranger status, and if completed, taking the ranger oath! Great for kids 4-8 (Salamander Ranger) and 9+ (Beaver Ranger). Free with day-use entry and for those staying at the state park campground.
