Kids 8 - 15: Start or complete requirements to earn the official Vermont State Park Jr. Ranger badge. Already have one? Advance to higher levels OR become a Jr. Park Naturalist. Nature Center, 1hr, basic Jr. Ranger materials available by request any time at office.
Explore Waterbury Reservoir seeking wildlife, Green Mountain geological features and spectacular Vermont Views. See how the Civilian Conservation Corps built Waterbury Dam. Boat rentals FREE; space is limited,Must Reserve In Advance if using park boats, get paddles/jackets from Park Office at 6:30pm.*Tour Starts Promptly at 7pm at the A-Side Swim Beach, 1.5-2hrs

Can you catch up to 300+ million years of evolution? Check out some local "dragons & damsels;" bring insect nets if you've got them as we use iNaturalist to track which dragonfly& damselfly species are active throughout the park season. Location: B-Side Beach; 1hr. *Day use visitors should leave themselves 20 extra minutes between arriving at Park Office and making their way to the program venue.
