Become “crepuscular” on an evening tour of New Discovery's boreal forest & historical sites. Meets at Osmore Pond Pavilion. Distance: ~1.8 miles; Duration: up to 2hrs. ***FLASHLIGHTS & STURDY FOOTWEAR REQUIRED; NO CROCS/FLIP-FLOPS allowed!***

Come Join Laura Lee as we hike all the trails at Brighton State Park. We'll enjoy the Changing leaves, colorful mushrooms, and beautiful scenery surrounding Spectacle Pond! At the same time we'll hear some history about the park and local town, along with checking out the area that was Chief War Eagle's home! Bring water, bug spray, a snack, and good walking shoes.

Looking for those perfect shots of the changing leaves in the Quechee Gorge? Join the Park Interpreter on an off-the-beaten path hike down into the gorge.

Vermont State Parks is proud to partner with Whetstone Beer Co. and Vermont Parks Forever to support our wonderful state parks. We’ll be serving VT State Parks 100th Anniversary beers to raise money for Vermont Parks Forever, the foundation for Vermont State Parks. Come paddle the white water and join us for a good cause!

Pints for Parks is a collaboration between Whetstone Beer and Vermont State Parks. In years past, Whetstone has focused on a different State Park to create a unique, limited-edition beer celebrating a specific park. This year we are celebrating Vermont Parks as a whole given the yearlong nature of the centennial event, and we have brewed up a whole new beer to celebrate the occasion.  In addition, Whetstone will donate proceeds from all Pints for Parks beer to VT State Parks’ partner charity, Vermont Parks Forever.  Join us as we honor the 100th Anniversary of the Vermont State Parks!
