Come to the Nature Center at Brighton State Park and check out our furs, skulls, tracks and scat! Which animal is totally Herbivore? Which is the smallest Carnivore! Watch out for your chickens! Several possible crafts! Natural Beaver Stick crafts, Native American Sand Art, Animal Tracks!
Come join Laura Lee at Brighton State Park for a Scavenger Hunt on the Boreal Forest Trail. We'll talk a bit about a Boreal Forest and what types of animals make it their home. Campers will get a card with an animals name and they will have to walk the trail and find the track that matches their animal! Can your animal live full time in the Boreal Forest? Why or Why Not? Bring your animal track to the Don Eagle Museum and learn about Chief War Eagle and his son Don Eagle. Then come to the Nature Center to make your own animal Tracks and hear about the regions Predator and Prey! Feel those furs, look at the skulls!
