The Woodbury Broad Band is comprised of 8- 10 dedicated women who love & enjoy playing familiar light rock and folk tunes on guitars, bass, uke and mandolin. Great music for all ages!

Make Music Vermont at Kingsland Bay State Park

Mark your calendar for June 21st at Kingsland Bay State Park for Make Music in Vermont Day and a Pete Seeger Circle Of Song music Jam. 

Some of Pete’s long time friends like Rick & Donna Nestler, Mel & Vinnie, Dan & Faith, Rik Palieri along with many of the Hinesburg SongFarmers club singers with Leadfoot Louise, Barry King and more, will be leading the all day song circles giving everyone a chance to join in! From noon till sunset acoustic musicians are going to gather around the porches of the cabins and have song circles celebrating the summer and Pete Seeger’s 100th Birthday. 

So bring a picnic basket and your bathing suite and join in the fun. Everyone is welcome!

Campfire Stories at Branbury State Park

Join Virginia Holiman and Kurt Valenta for a unique campfire program. Expect a confluence of traditional native storytelling and the exploration of nature's mysteries. Virginia and Kurt bring the stories' characters to reality through the natural artifacts the audience can examine after each story. The presentation is a series of stories based in folklore, followed by a show-and- tell of the main character's physical attributes. Kurt shares his collection of pelts, skulls, tracks and a myriad of other pieces that allow participants to feel a fur or touch a sharp tooth, thereby underscoring the story's roots in reality.
