Calling all kids ages 4+ who want to become a Jr. Ranger!

Come complete a simple community service task here at Branbury State Park and take home an activity book to finish at your own pace! The Jr. Ranger ceremony (for those who complete a community service task and finish their activity book) will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 4pm in front of the lake.

We will be completing a community service task as a group on this day from 4pm - 5pm, and there will be activity booklets available to take home for those who haven't received one yet.

There will be an opportunity to complete the community service portion on this day from 10am - 1pm 

Stop by the Nature Center for all your watercolor supplies between 6pm - 8pm! Sit anywhere in the park and paint away. Return materials anytime before 8pm. Kids and adults welcome!

Come see Smokey Bear for his 80th birthday! Smokey will be seen riding a golf cart all over the park at 2pm. Wave at Smokey and get some free merch in celebration of his birthday!

If it rains, Smokey will be seeing visitors and handing out merch in the Nature Center at 2pm.

Come learn all about monarchs and participate in some butterfly activities! Stop by anytime between 10am - 12pm.

Stop by the Nature Center for some watercolor supplies and pick anywhere in the park to sit and paint! If it rains and you would still like to paint, there is seating in the Nature Center available.

Materials will be available to use between 6pm - 8pm.
