Interested in a field trip to a Vermont State Park?  With over fifty five state parks around the state, you are never more than half an hour away from the nearest state park.  These beautiful outdoor classrooms are the perfect opportunity to add an outdoor, hands-on component to your classroom curriculum.  In the fall, park interpreters are available at some parks to lead guided activities that align with your curriculum.  You are also more than welcome to visit any state park and facilitate your own outdoor learning.  When parks are staffed with facilities open from late spring to Labor Day or Columbus Day, the fee for school groups is $0.50 per person.  During the late fall, winter and early spring there is no cost for your field trip.  Optional interpretive programs when available are free.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to provide you with the best possible experience, school groups must contact the parks at least two weeks prior to your visit.

Please let us know what you are planning, so we can help ensure the very best visit ever for your students.  Contact the Regional Park Manager in the area of the state you wish to visit:
