Grafton; Windham County
William C. Putnam State Forest is a hilly woodland parcel located a few miles northwest of historic Grafton Village. It features a mix of forest, mowed meadows, and apple trees.
The parcel is well suited to walking, snowshoeing, and hunting. Its small size and varied composition makes it a good place for a short family outing.
