Mushrooms Demystified at the Groton Nature Center

Introducing some fabulous, fearsome and perhaps delicious members of Kingdom Fungi. Program will introduce what mushrooms are, how how they're intricately linked with all other life on Earth, major groupings (gilled, boletes, polypores, etc.) and representative species present at time of program. 1hr minimum; option to extend for up to 2.5hrs total including mushroom-collecting walk. Participants are encouraged to bring samples.
