Hike to Silver Lake in Moosalmoo National Rec Area

Come along for a 3 mile round trip hike to a beautiful lake in the mountains, and learn its history along the way. Hike is rated moderate, follows an old forest road and features 700 feet of elevation gain. On average it takes about 2.5 hours to complete. Hang out after the hike for a story hour geared towards children at the Silver Lake picnic area. Meet at Silver Lake trailhead and be sure to wear bug spray & close-toed shoes.
