Fossil Art at Button Bay State Park

500 million years ago, Vermont was covered by a tropical sea. Today, we can see the creatures of those waters preserved in the rocks at Button Bay. How can we capture what they might have looked like in life? Come to the Nature Center where we’ll be coloring, sketching, modeling, and making impressions of fossils from our collection!
All ages. Event free with camping or day-use pass ($4 per adult, $2 per child). Attendees under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
