All are invited to explore our little Nature Center, located near the beginning of the path to the beach.
Gather outside the Nature Center to learn about orienteering and engage in a map reading activity. This program requires walking independently around the park and adult supervision is required.
Meet by the Nature Center to enjoy a story and related activity. Tailored to ages 8 and below, but all are welcome.
Discover what species of fish live in our waters and learn their preferred foods. Explore the elements of their lake habitat. Find us on the path to the beach.
Drop by our display and learn little nuggets of information about the link between animal's skulls and their droppings. Find us on the path to the beach.
Investigate how wildfires benefit natural ecosystems and discover the importance of fire safety in the outdoors. Find us along the trail to the beach.
Kim, the park interpreter, will be moving around the park sharing facts about Smokey Bear and wildfire prevention. Find her to get some Smokey swag!

Join Corps THAT members, leaders, Emerald Lake Park Interpreter, and Vermont Fish and Wildlife staff for A Day at Camp for Deaf, Deaf Blind, Hard of Hearing Community Members and Families at Emerald Lake State Park in East Dorset.
