• Use Value Appraisal Informational Brochure - This brochure outlines basic information about the UVA program.
• Use Value Appraisal Manual - The Use Value Appraisal Program Manual is intended to be a reference for people working with the forestry portion of Vermont’s UVA program. It contains information on the Vermont state statutes, rules, history, and standards for forest management plans and practices on enrolled forestland. The manual contains an appendix listing supporting documents and relevant program forms. The Use Value Appraisal Program Manual was last updated in March of 2010 to include a complete set of Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department’s forms needed for Ecologically Significant Treatment Areas (ESTA) applications. Please note that some elements of this manual have been updated and are reflected in the "New Resources" area of this webpage.
