Join Laura Lee at Brighton State Park for a walk on the Boreal Forest Trail. Learn about the Boreal Forest, the flora and fauna there. See if you can spot the lobster mushroom! Take and animal card and join in on the animal tracks scavenger hunt! Can your animal live in the Boreal Forest all the time?
Meet Laura Lee at Spectacle Pond! What's a Kettle Pond! Next, a guided hike along the Shoreline Trail, through the Natural Red Pine Forest and on to Eagle Point! How did Brighton State Park become home to the only Natural Red Pine Forest in Vermont? Who is Chief War Eagle and Don Eagle? Always bring water, good hiking shoes and bug spray on our hikes!

Hear about the Native American Family who lived above Spectacle Pond and what they did for a living and for the community of Brighton.
