Class-A firefighting Foam 50/50 Purchasing Program
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, Forestry Division currently has a limited supply of Class-A firefighting foam available for purchase under the Volunteer Fire Assistance Purchasing Program, funded by the U.S. Forest Service. It is available to rural towns in Vermont with a population of 10,000 or less. Towns can order the foam and pay 50% of the total cost, and the other 50% is paid for by the program. Due to the limited supply, towns will be allowed to order a maximum of 10 (5 gallon) containers of foam, on a first come first serve basis. Orders will be accepted until September 20, 2019 or until supplies are gone.
