Girl Scouts Love State Parks

Girl Scouts of the USA launched a national program to celebrate getting girls outdoors in beautiful state parks settings. This program, Girl Scouts Love State Parks aims to get every girl outside in 2020, and Vermont State Parks is excited to be part of this initiative again. Vermont has 55 managed state parks with fun outdoor opportunities including hiking, swimming, boating, camping, picnicking, and reconnecting with friends and family in beautiful settings. In collaboration with the National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD), Girl Scouts will host a variety of events at state parks for girls to explore what the parks have to offer and to participate in select activities, such as working on a badge, accomplishing a service project, camping overnight, and much more.
