This Management Unit is comprised of the following parcels:
- Camel's Hump State Park
- Camel's Hump State Forest
- Robbins Mountain Wildlife Management Area
- Huntington Gap Wildlife Management Area
The Agency of Natural Resources has recently completed an update of the Long-Range Management Plan for the Camel's Hump Management Unit. The current draft version of the plan will be presented to the public at three meetings during November 2017.
- November 9, 6-8 pm- Smilie Memorial Elementary School, Bolton
- November 15, 6-8 pm- Brewster Pierce Memorial School, Huntington
- November 29, 6-8 pm- Crossett Brook Middle School, Duxbury
The format of the meetings will be an open house. At 6 pm, participants will have the opportunity to review the plan, view maps and discuss goals and strategies with ANR staff, and provide written comments. At 7 pm there will be a brief presentation highlighting portions of the plan and outlining the next steps. Following that brief presentation, participants can continue to meet with Agency staff and provide comment. Visitors are welcom to arrive and depart at any time during the two-hour meeting.
