Join us for a weekend of whitewater fun at this semi-annual event where the Ball Mountain Dam gate is opened, and water is released into the West River, providing excellent whitewater paddling. *State park staff will run a shuttle (fee) to the top of the West River where paddlers start their journey. If you're not into whitewater paddling, it's still very fun to watch. Check out the Jamaica State Park web page for more information.
