Hike: Hedgehog Hill Trail to the Goshawk Nest

In June 2021, personnel from the Vermont Dept. of Forests, Parks & Recreation were forced to close the Ricker Farm and Hedgehog Hill Trails at Little River State Park due to aggressively territorial nesting Northern Goshawks.  The trails were reopened as of August 27th when the adults dispersed.  Join Park Interpreter and bird biologist Brian Aust on a guided hike to the  goshawk nest site.  Elevation gain: 750 feet in 0.75 miles, equivalent to 25 flights of stairs. Duration: 2hrs; option to extend. Sturdy shoes are required! Anyone wearing flip-flops or crocs will not be allowed on this hike.
