Please join us for a planning discussion regarding improvements to the South End area of Willoughby State Forest. This area of the forest receives a tremendous amount of use during the summer months and the level of use is growing each year. The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation recently secured a grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission for infrastructure improvements at the South End. The project description is quite broad and includes improved parking, restroom facilities, and waterfront access enhancements. The goal of this discussion is to solicit ideas from the general public and interested user groups to consider during the design and development of these enhancements.
