Forest Health Management

Both non-native pests and natural disturbances may require special management considerations.  This page contains information from the forest health program of particular importance to forest managers. Additional information is available, through the following links, on Diagnosing Tree Health Problems and Forest Pest Quarantine Regulations.

A Vermont pesticide applicator certificate is needed for using any pesticide, including organic and natural products,  on property the applicator does not own. Pesticide regulations and information about applicator certification are available from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets.
