Wildland Fire Equipment Grant

Rural fire departments in Vermont can purchase wildland fire fighting equipment and PPE from the federal government supply through Forests, Parks and Recreation.  Order forms can be obtained from the Forest Resource Protection staff at each district office. Orders can be placed at any time throughout the year.

Wildland Fire Protective Gear & Equipment Grant Program 
Annually the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, Forestry Division offers the wildland fire protective gear and equipment grant program. This grant is offered to Vermont volunteer fire departments (VFDs) and is funded by federal Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) funds. This grant is limited to specific items from the Wildland Fire Equipment catalog. To find out more about the grant please contact Dan Dillner (dan.dillner@vermont.gov).

Once the form is completed, print a copy to mail along with your check.  Order forms and checks must be received no later than November 10th, 2017.
